This is an opportunity for teens to hang out and really sink their teeth into a project whether it's a painting, an abstract sculpture or just exploring materials that they haven't had the chance to play with yet. The studio is theirs, they call the shots and I am there for support, advice and instruction.
The Mixed Media classes are structured for the most flexibility in meeting the student's needs and wants with small class sizes allowing for individual instruction and growth. While using subjects of interest as the inspiration, topics such as; perspective, color theory and composition are covered while honing skills using graphite, color pencil, pastel, charcoal and acrylic paints. All professional grade materials are provided.
